What this website does not do
- No cookies and no similar techniques such as local storage in your browser.
- No analytics or tracking services. We build no visitor profiles.
- No third-party resources. Fonts, images and styles are served from this domain. There are no embedded videos, maps or social-media buttons.
- No forms and no JavaScript.
A security policy (Content Security Policy) only lets the browser load files from this domain and blocks everything else.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. To deliver the pages and secure the service, Google processes technical server data (access logs), such as your IP address and details of the request your browser sends.
This processing is necessary to offer the website securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you e-mail us
If you send us an e-mail, we process your e-mail address, your name if you include it and the content of your message, in order to answer and follow up your question, for example a report of an error. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to answer and follow it up. We do not sell your data and do not pass it on to third parties, except to the provider of our e-mail service or where the law requires us to.

Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to object to it. Send your request to info@civicfisc.be.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Changes
This notice covers this website. If the website or the way we process data changes, we will update the notice; the date at the top shows the latest change. The Govchecker.be platform will have its own privacy notice when it launches.
